Medoidze’s debut feature film, Let Us Flow (ვიდინოთ), emerged from more than a decade of engagement with the highland communities of Tusheti in her native Georgia. The film mirrors the slow rhythm of the landscape through a deliberate temporal approach, shaped by its harsh and remote terrain.
Described by Sight & Sound as “a mesmerising Georgian documentary”, the film eschews explanatory framing. Instead, ritual gestures, layered voices, recurring motifs, and mythic allusions are constructed into a long (cine-)poem to the mountains and their human and non-human inhabitants.
